#PIEBill 🔖 | Government gazettes bill to strengthen response to illegal land occupations 

The Prevention of Illegal Eviction from and Unlawful Occupation of Land Amendment Bill has been released for public comment. 

The Department of Human Settlements has allocated 60 days for public submissions, with comments expected by mid-June 2026.
